Anita Briem has been an actress in Iceland for over 20 years. Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor. She's best known for her role as Jane Seymour, the young woman who will become the 3rd queen of Henry VIII on the television show The Tudors. Briem started her acting career when she was 9 years old in the National Theater in Iceland. When she was in her home country Iceland she was involved in the television, radio, and different programs while a young actor. Briem at the age of 16 relocated to London and took part in her first production, Lenin In Love in the New End Theater. Briem, then 19, was accepted into at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She studied there for three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and also won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category.
